17"w x 6"h x 1"d © February 2003 NFS
Collection of Artist
Update 11/9/04 on exhibit at: "Holiday Boutique"
Zimmerli Art Museum New Brunswick, NJ November 2004

Materials: fabric, sheers & tulles, acrylic paint, metalic ink, computer keyboard keys, cell phone number pad, wire, metallic thread, sequins, and beads using Lonni Rossi's The Typographical Elements Collection distributed by Andover Fabrics.

Techniques: machine quilting, hand stamping, hand stenciling, hand appliqué, hand embroidery, and embellishment.

Statement: The “Keyboard Lockup” series evokes the feelings of frustration and lack of control when computers 'freeze up'. It’s a metaphor for not being able to move forward in this moment in time.
