September Update: quilting
stage Over the summer I started the quilting, trapunto, and embroidery phases. Here's what the piece will look like after it is placed in the custom oak frame that my husband Peter made. It will probably have a dark green fabric matte. |

March Update: 2nd painting stage Back in my studio I've added a cala lily, three types of orchards, and
have begun filling in the background foliage. In the 3rd stage I added
even more jungle leaves and vines. Next I will use colored pens to define
the images. After that, it will be time to trapunto & quilt. |
